About the Author:
V. Raghunathan is an academic, corporate executive, author, columnist and a hobbyist. He has made Bengaluru his home. He taught finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, for a couple of decades before turning a banker as the president of ING Vysya Bank in Bengaluru. He is the director of the Schulich School of Business (India Campus, York University, Toronto, Canada); an Adjunct Professor at the same school in Toronto; and the CEO of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. He has been writing extensively for leading newspapers and magazines and blogs for the Times of India. Raghu has probably the largest collection of antique locks in the country, has played chess at the allIndia level, and was briefly a cartoonist for a national daily.
