PJ Caposey, Ed.D. PJ is an award-winning practitioner, currently serving as Superintendent of Schools for Meridian CUSD 223 in Illinois, Adjunct Professor at Aurora University, Educational Consultant for MB Enterprise, and a Principal Coach for the Illinois Principals Association. He is a highly sought-after speaker who has presented at the ASCD Annual Conference and the National Conference on Education, as well as many other conferences across the country. PJ has been recognized as the Illinois ASA Superintendent of Distinction for the Northwest Region, IPA Principal of the Year, an ASCD Outstanding Young Educator Honoree, ASCD Emerging Leader, NSPRA 25 Superintendents to Watch Honoree, and a 40 Leaders Under 40 Honoree, among many others. PJ has published three books, and his writing has been featured in a variety of different entities including: EdWeek, Edutopia, and the Huffington Post. Rosa Isiah, Ed.D. (@RosaIsiah) serves students, parents, and staff as an elementary school Principal in southern California. Her experiences include 24 years in education as a Teacher, Bilingual Specialist, Language Arts Specialist, Assistant Principal, Coordinator of Federal and State Programs, and Principal. As Principal, Rosa focuses on supporting the development of a healthy school culture, professional learning communities, and meeting the needs of the whole child. She is passionate about equity in education and closing opportunity gaps for historically underserved students and believes in the power of relationships and leading with purpose and passion. Rosa is a connected educator and the founder of #WeLeadEd Twitter chat. She is also the host of the WeLeadEd BAM radio show focused on Leadership through a Social Justice and Equity lens. Rosa was recently named 2016 Body and Mind Education Radio Thought Leader of the Year. She has contributed her voice to blogs, leadership books, and Education Week on the topics of leadership, school culture, English learners, and equity. In addition, Rosa is a Solution Tree associate and consultant for MB Enterprise, providing training in school culture, equity, and English learner success.
