Review:
The comic crew of criminals from A Fish Called Wanda resurface in Fierce Creatures. When Octopus, Inc., acquires a small zoo in England, the corporate conglomerate sends Rollo to be the zoo's director. In an attempt to raise attendance and revenues, Rollo makes sure that every animal in the zoo delivers just what people really want--violence, danger, and excitement. Rollo hatches the Fierce Animal Policy, which states that if an animal doesn't drool at the sight of human flesh, rip its prey apart, growl, and roar, it has to go. This leaves quite a few warm and fuzzy creatures in uncertain positions. Archie, Wanda, Ken, and Otto regroup for the first time since their bank robbing escapade to turn Fierce Creatures into a ferociously funny tale for the age of corporate downsizing.
