"Jasmine Tea, a wandering" is a multi-layered narrative of a courtship, reunion and insights discovered by all who wander through the story. The story speaks to our inner life; a life where we find ourselves often quarreling with the whys and wherefores of daily circumstances. It is an insightful exploration set in a dreamlike landscape. Through this enchanting tale, the characters learn about life, what their heart loves, and, most surprisingly, that the only requirement for true success is a willingness to try... On each step of the journey, the reader is coaxed and delighted by drawings from the creativity of artist, Peg Quinn (Santa Barbara, CA), as well as with the whimsical imagery from digital artists Lauri Burke (RI), Phil Pattinson and Helen Burke (UK artists). * A story unfolding like Jasmine on a sun-touched branch. Like the flurry of feathers preened from a bird’s wing. Like travelers wandering through an open archway, reunited. A fragrance streaming from the constancy of hearts. Dreams within a dream. Thank you for wandering, Jan Keough

About the Author:
Jan Keough is originally from the Boston area where she learned to enjoy all things New England except for driving in the snow. Her earliest writing was a poem about clouds which, mercifully, has not survived. In any case, her time both during and after school was spent day dreaming and wondering what was life all about. After a brief visit to the BU School of Theology she set out more earnestly on an inner quest. Her first encouragement came through Gandhi’s 'My Experiments With Truth' and led to Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual classic, 'Autobiography of a Yogi.' Jan is co-founder of the Origami Poems Project which has been publishing ‘free’ microchaps of poetry since 2009. More recently her own work has appeared at the Wickford RI Art Association's Ekphrasis exhibits 2015, 2016 and 2017; and in Crosswinds Journal, Spring 2017. She has also read poetry and a brief portion of 'Jasmine Tea' on Helen Burke's radio program on ELFM Radio UK. These days she spends her time in cyber space, along the eastern seaboard, gardening, bicycling, and in meditation. She is married to the accomplished musician-artist, and much appreciated good guy, Kevin Keough. An audio recording by Jan of 'Jasmine Tea, a wandering' will be available on her page: www.jankeough.com
