About the Author:
Amy Campbell is a Pittsburgh-area native who moved to the city after graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor s in journalism. After experiencing city life for a few good years, she finally settled just outside of the eastern city limits, where she and her boyfriend, Jimmy, live with their many cats. They both love everything Pittsburgh and can often be found enjoying a couple of cold ones at Mad Mex or scavanging around Construction Junction for assorted goodies.
Bridget Daley is an alum of Duquesne University. After graduating with a degree in journalism and spending a year working abroad, she fought hard against the prospect of returning to Pittsburgh for no real reason. But like all things good in this world, she decided to follow her heart, which happened to land her in the South Side of the city, and she couldn t be happier. She lives there today with her husband, Chris, and enjoys watching the Pens and winning at foosball.
Matt Hamman grew up in Greensburg, Pa., about 40 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. He moved to the city to attend college at Pitt in 2000 and has lived here ever since, for better or for worse. Though Pittsburgh may be a tough town for a single guy, he loves the city s unique character and hometown pride, and he doesn t plan on leaving anytime soon. If you re lucky, you might catch him in Lawrenceville soaking up the artistic vibes (and maybe a drink or two).
Jen Vella, a Siena College graduate, is a Pittsburgh transplant. She moved to the area from upstate New York about two years ago and immediately fell in love with the city. And even though she gets frustrated with many drivers in the Squirrel Hill tunnels, she can t imagine herself anywhere else. She and her husband, Jeff, just bought their first house and look forward to exploring everything Pittsburgh has to offer, as well as cheering on the Pirates for many years to come!
