About the Author:
JACK KORNFIELD, PH.D., trained as a Buddhist monk in southeast Asia. He is cofounder of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, and the Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California. His books include The Wise Heart: A Guide to the Universal Teachings of Buddhist Psychology; Teachings of the Buddha; A Path with Heart; After the Ecstasy, the Laundry; and Living Dharma. He also holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and lives in northern California with his wife and daughter.
