From Booklist:
If, as the authors imply, the craft of decoupage is actually making a comeback, this attractive book supplies all the details anyone new to the craft will need. Instead of coming last, as they do in many craft books, the projects lead off this text. Step-by-step instructions for several of them are prefaced by the authors' comments and accompanied by sequenced photographs and pictures of finished products. The large central section of the book is a photo-gallery of pieces decorated by Thomas and Fox, who supply a wealth of information about materials and technique as they discuss how each project came into being. The concluding section, with color illustrations rather than photos, provides specific details about materials and techniques. The book's British origin is evident but not obtrusive, and Americans will be pleased to find U.S. dealers among those listed in the appended suppliers list. Stephanie Zvirin
