About the Author:
Meher McArthur is Curator of East Asian Art at the Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena, California, USA. She is the author of Reading Buddhist Art: An Illustrated Guide to Buddhist Signs and Symbols, and The Arts of Asia: Materials, Techniques, Styles.
