He also talks of hiring and training personnel, whereas some shoestring start-ups can involve long hours for the whole family. Still, Burstiner seems particularly knowledgeable about pricing and other financial topics. Many retailers might want to own this book as a handy reference because of its broad coverage of many topics that the novice might not have considered. Extensive bibliographies give a leg up on further research. A welcome addition to any public library that serves small businesses; if only the author touted libraries more.
