About the Author:
Douglas Cooper (1911-84) was one of the foremost critics and collectors of his generation. His insights into the works of Picasso, Braque and their contemporaries in the international avant-garde are informed by his close friendships with them.
From Library Journal:
LJ's reviewer initially dubbed this volume "a significant work on the Cubist movement" and found that "the book's greatest strength is its treatment of individual artists." This heavily illustrated title remains "strongly recommended" (LJ 6/1/71).
