“I found the style to be very good. I especially like the Chapter openings which describe real people doing real writing tasks in current contexts—very inviting and interesting. In addition, the explanations are clear and direct, so in that way to text models what Tech. Comm should look and sound like. Very well done.”
--Dave Banninga, Niagara College
“Students really like having [chapter] objectives and I like them so I can match them to my course outcomes. The checklists are invaluable as quick references for students.”
--Shelley Zwicker, NSCC, Lunenburg Campus
“This text provides an excellent introduction to the topics covered in my courses. I like how concise, compact, and readable this text is. It is also more current and practical than many other texts on the market.”
--Anonymous
“I like that it truly is a concise guide. It is comprehensive in scope but presents information directly. Students commended positively on the size of the text in particular.”
