About the Author:
Simon Heffer is associate editor of the Daily Telegraph, where he writes on a wide range of topics, from politics to culture and language. He was previously a columnist for the Daily Mail and deputy editor of the Spectator. His previous books include Like the Roman: The Life of Enoch Powell, Strictly English, and Vaughn Williams.
